Ice Divers

Ice diving... yup that's a thing! One day I was browsing Facebook for events happening near me, and discovered an ice diving class put on by Still Water Diving. I thought the class would make for an interesting photo story, and took a shot in the dark. I reached out to the owner of the company, and he was confused but willing!

One thing I absolutely love about photography is the opportunities I get to meet interesting people and learn new things! I had such a blast photographing the students and instructors, and couldn't help but have a great appreciation for how passionate they were about diving. Not even the winter stops them from practicing what they love.
